Climate is not everything...
The Planetary Boundaries Fresco is based on the Planetary Boundaries framework, first presented in 2009 by Johan Rockström, former director of the Stockholm Resilience Center, and a group of 28 internationally renowned scientists.
The workshop guides participants through the findings of various Planetary Boundary studies such as IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) but also other less famous research.
The workshop makes daunting topics, such as earth systems science, more accessible and raises awareness of the interconnected global challenges facing humanity.
